Grant S. Bromhal received bachelors' degrees in Civil Engineering and Mathematics from West Virginia University in 1995. He received a Masters from Carnegie Mellon in Civil and Environmental Engineering in1997 and a PhD from Carnegie Mellon in Environmental Engineering in 2000. He is currently the Research Group Leader for the Sequestration, Hydrocarbons and Related Programs Group of the U.S. Department of Energy at the National Energy Technology Laboratory in Morgantown, WV, after being a National Research Council post-doc at the same place. His current research focuses on modeling of environmental and energy systems, particularly related to carbon sequestration. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hiking, biking, caving, playing the clarinet, juggling, and lots of other fun stuff.
